Pet Bereavement Certification Program- Level 2

In Level II of our Pet Bereavement Certification program, you learned about stages of grief, effective communication skills, and strategies for working with grieving pet families. Level II of our Pet Bereavement Certification program will move you beyond basic skills and understanding to challenging interactions. You will learn to recognize complicated grief, how to assist with anticipatory grief, and discern when other factors are at play impairing a client’s behavior and decision-making process. Through video and self-directed interactions, you will learn how to navigate the challenges of complicated grief, including grief in children at any developmental age, and the elderly. You will learn to identify a depressed or suicidal client and how to access help for them.
